A fireman, a mailman, a train engineer. Those were my responses to "What do you want to be when you grow up?" when I was younger. And then, my answers seemed to dry up through college and the first few years out.
So I did a lot of soul searching. What would I do if I chose it? What should I do? What could I do? I asked myself those and about 15,000 other questions for a couple of years. I searched in the volumes of deep books, on remote backpacking trails, and in strange foreign lands. Like the answer to many difficult questions, mine was simple: do what you love.
