Wildlife Habitat Council - Under the Radar but Getting Things Done

I just returned from the Wildlife Habitat Council's annual symposium - held at the Waterfront Marriott on Baltimore's beautiful Inner Harbor.  You may be asking yourself "the Wildlife Habitat who"?  You're not alone.  After having worked on several WHC projects in the past year, and telling people about these projects, I have found that very few people know of the WHC.  That is disappointing.  They are doing GREAT work.

Did you know - that the WHC helps large landowners, particularly corporations, manage their unused lands in an ecologically sensitive manner for the benefit of wildlife?

Did you know - that since 1990, WHC has certified hundreds of programs at corporate facilities around the world providing third-party credibility and an objective evaluation of projects through their Corporate Wildlife Habitat Certification/International Accreditation Program.

Did you know - that the WHC has around 100 corporate members including BASF, Dupont, Exxon, Ford, IBM, Monsanto, Sears, Toyota, Waste Management...and Tenneesee's own TVA and Bridgestone?

Did you know - that the WHC has received Presidential recognition for its unique role in building partnerships?

If you did, then very good on you!  If you didn't, like me, well now you do!  If you like what you have read here and think that this type of project may work for your company, please let me know and I will put you in touch.

thanks,
Jeff
