Jeff has a passion for improving the world in which we live and work. He also has the drive, the intelligence, and the teamwork and communication skills to turn that passion into action. He has helped Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management - first as a graduate student and now as a consultant. His ability to create and structure sustainability initiatives at the school has helped put Owen in a leadership position in these areas.

History

J. Gowdy Consulting, was founded in 2006 by Mr. Jeff Gowdy. J. Gowdy Consulting is based in Nashville, TN.

Jeff Gowdy:

Experience

Jeff has ten years of consulting experience. His sustainability consulting experience includes work with Bridgestone, Blu Skye Sustainability Consulting, GreenOrder, Southern Energy Conservation Initiative (Kilowatt Ours), World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Cumberland River Compact, and the Owen Graduate School of Management (Vanderbilt).

Education

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. He graduated with Distinction honors. Jeff holds an MBA with a focus in Strategy & Environmental Management from Vanderbilt (Owen). Jeff was inducted into the national business honor’s society, Beta Gamma Sigma, and was awarded the Owen Service Award at graduation.

Leah Morgan:

Experience

Leah's sustainability experience includes work with the William James Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to promoting triple-bottom line businesses, in addition to CSR course development and teaching at Vanderbilt University. She is also a StartingBloc fellow.

Education

Leah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human and Organizational Development, with a focus on Community Development, from Vanderbilt University. She is currently earning her Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.
